Dataset description

A canton is the electoral district of departmental councillors, members of the departmental council. Valid from 1 March 2015 following the reform of the cantonal territories. The division is the transcription of a prefectural decree delimiting the cantons according to the municipalities, the roads and the addresses. The entry was made by SIGU on the basis of information transmitted by the prefecture.
