Dataset description

Geographical areas delimited by the public authority to ensure the protection of catchments (land or not) intended for drinking water supply to the population. In response to the requirements of the Framework Directive on Water, the Law on Water and Aquatic Environments of 30/12/06 strengthened the control systems for diffuse pollution of #x27; agricultural origin through the creation of zones for the protection of areas of #x27; feeding of catchments. The implementation of this new resource protection system leads to the delimitation of catchment feeding areas (AAFC, sometimes also referred to as catchment ponds or LACs) which include AAFC protection areas. For surface water abstractions, l'AAC is the sub-basin upstream of the water intake. For groundwater, a common methodology for delimiting AAFCs at the national level has been proposed. In the law of the methodological guide produced, the basin d'feeding d' underground capture is defined as the place of the points of the soil surface that contribute to the feeding of the catchment. Some catchment areas are defined as priority areas in the Master Plans of Water Management and Management (SDAGE) and measurement programs. An AAFC is thus defined, after technical study, as the zone d’#x27; where the waters supplying one catchment or several close catchments originate. The protection zone of AAFC is the result of the intersection of cartographic zoning of intrinsic vulnerability and zoning of agricultural pressures. In the case of surface water catchments, the definition of a protection zone within the watershed upstream of the catches of water is based on the identification of flows (running, drainage, ditches of #x27; flow, exchanges between alluvial waters and rivers of #x27; water) and on #x27; identification, by territorial diagnosis, of agricultural pressures and areas likely to play the most important role in the degradation of the water resource. An AAFC protection zone is thus defined by regulation, for an AAFC including one or more catchments, as a perimeter of #x27; actions to protect the drinking water resource from identified environmental issues. __Origin__ The perimeters are provided by the offices d' studies that establish the hydrogeological studies. Each municipality is the master of these studies. The DDT04 brings together all the perimeters of the different municipalities in a single departmental geographical layer and possibly adjusts certain perimeters. The layer s' enriches new perimeters as studies progress. __Partner organisations__ DDT Alpes-de-Haute-Provence __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-ldd-d6ac0b99-cee8-49ba-80b5-a08b1e32e415) * [COVADIS data standard: Collection area v1.0](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?id=1) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/e4a59cbad055a801ff72fe5ca6e46e8afc5d0325)
