Dataset description

### Description of the dataset The legal deposit of the audiovisual web is the part of the legal deposit that the legislator has entrusted to the National Audiovisual Institute. It started in February 2009 and concerns: — all sites of audiovisual media services, regardless of how they are broadcast (radio, cable, satellite, DTT, web — are included audio-visual media services known as on-demand or SMAd); — online public communication sites “mainly dedicated to programmes” of the previous ones, whether active, inactive or missing; — social networks (in particular Twitter accounts) linked to the French audiovisual industry. The identification of these sites is done through referencing tools and an assiduous monitoring work carried out by multimedia documentalists of the National Audiovisual Institute. Depending on their appearance, duration of existence and disappearance, these sites are identified by a status (collected, unupdated, dead, etc.). The pages of these sites are kept at regular intervals. It is thus possible to reconstruct the very history of the Web, which then becomes an object of study. The dataset contains the completeness of the sites collected by the INA since February 2009 and provides, for each site, information on the collection (frequency, borders...) and documentary information (type of sites, public, comments). The game is accompanied by a dictionary of data defining each of its attributes. The re-use of personal data present in the data sets published by Ina constitutes the processing of personal data as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 known as the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and Law No 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on computing, files and freedoms as amended, together “the Data Protection Regulation”. The re-user is therefore subject to compliance with the legal framework resulting from the Data Protection Regulation so that this re-use of personal data is lawful. In any event, Ina disclaims any liability for non-compliance by a re-user with the above-mentioned regulations.
