Critical care beds of healthcare facilities in France

These data are produced from the statistical databases of the [_Annual Statistics of Health Institutions (ASS)._](https://drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/sources-outils-et-enquetes/00-la-statistique-annuelle-des-etablissements-sae) This DREES survey describes annually the activity of public and private health facilities (number of stays and days of hospitalisation) and their associated factors of production (beds, places, equipment, personnel). The survey underwent a major overhaul at the time of the 2013 data collection, so that previous data are not always directly comparable. The latest edition whose results are available is 2021\. All institutional responses are available under [_data.drees_](https://drees2-sgsocialgouv.opendatasoft.com/explore/?q=sae&sort=modified). The data are updated and updated annually on the basis of the latest available EAS statistical database (distributed at the end of October each year).
