Daily ATMO Index in Nantes

This table contains the daily ATMO index of the Nantes agglomeration, as well as the 4 sub-indexes, since 2005. The calculation of the index is defined at national level on the basis of regulatory thresholds: order of 22 July 2004 on air quality indices. The index is determined by the maximum of a set of sub-indexes, each of which is representative of an air pollutant: sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3) and fine particles (PM10). The measurement sites selected for its calculation characterise the background air pollution of heavily populated areas (urban sites) or peri-urban areas (peri-urban sites).
