In each of the territories there is a " team of animation of the territory; made up of officials of the Department working under the leadership of a delegate of the Directorate-General. On 1 January 2019, the municipality of Ringeldorf (formerly in the western territory) was attached to the northern territory following its merger with the municipality of Val de Moder.
