Census of public EPLLEs of the Bas-Rhin. Since 1986, the Department has been responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of public colleges. Four establishments have been established since then (Molsheim Bugatti in 1991, Vendenheim in 1992, Lingolsheim Galilee in 1995 and Duttlenheim in 2003), bringing the number of public colleges to 89 in 2007 and 90 in 2008 with the opening of the Heiligenstein College. In September 2015, the number of public colleges increased to 91 with the opening of the European School in Strasbourg. This European-funded school is reserved for children of European civil servants with grades ranging from kindergarten to high school. For the last year, September 2018, there was a merger between the Collège André Maurois and the college jumping the hare in Bischwiller, the new college is named André Maurois College. There are 90 colleges in the department of Bas-Rhin, and 2 colleges outside the department, welcoming students from Bas-Rhinois. The number of students per college will be known from November 2018. For private colleges, so-called private institutions (under contract), there are 13 in the department, including 8 in Strasbourg.
