Dataset description

The Scan 25 or Scan25 version 2 product is a collection of digital colour map images, obtained by rasterisation (scanning or direct transformation of vector data) of data used to make maps of the series at 1/25000 (Top25 and others). It consists of a masaic of “slabs”, digital images in TIFF format, 10 km side, georeferenced, without overload or direct indication of georeferencing. Note, these tiles do not all have the same update date (2005 for the most recent).
