Data from the following digital consultation campaign: Bercy-Charenton, a new neighborhood is emerging! The consultation was open on idee.paris from 8 July to 31 October 2022. Bercy-Charenton is the last Parisian site of such magnitude being transformed.The perimeter concentrates important urban issues and has been the subject of development proposals since 2008. Originally considered to be a future large neighborhood of housing and economic activities, ambitions have evolved into a more subtle approach to address the city’s challenge of adapting to climate change. It is the opportunity to make a real neighborhood to live, more welcoming, more ecological and offering local activities, while respecting its heritage and vegetable environment. In order to design a new district adapted to the desires and uses of Parisians, the City of Paris has initiated a consultation process with the public and associative actors. Contributions to the online questionnaire were used to understand the perception of the site and to collect needs, expectations and aspirations.
