Digital consultation — Denfert-Rochereau: reinvent Your Place — Questionnaire — 2022

Data from the following digital consultation campaign: Denfert-Rochereau: reinvent your place» The consultation was open on idee.paris from 3 December 2021 to 23 January 2022. The City of Paris wanted to develop Denfert-Rochereau towards a more peaceful place, more accessible and comfortable for all. The planning of the project foresees a start of work after the 2024 Olympic Games. This timetable offered the opportunity to take the time to conduct a broad consultation. The purpose? Contribute, through a programme of work, to harmoniously bring together all the ways of living and using the place. The objective of the consultation was thus to deepen the diagnosis and to know the expectations of Parisians, around the following reflections: What are the current and new uses that can be considered in the square? What are the current “zones of calm” and “active areas” and to be developed? How to make them more practical and enjoyable? How to better share spaces between different modes of travel: what are the places that are problematic today? For pedestrians and pedestrians? For cyclists? \- How to make the place and its various sectors more legible and accessible, especially for people with reduced mobility and bus users? \- How is the place of the plant perceived and how to strengthen the plant atmospheres? How to make the squares more welcoming and give more space to the plant?
