Dataset description

Data from the following digital consultation campaign:Paris Respire Zone soothed: Paris Centre and Saint-Germain» The consultation was open on idee.paris from 12 to 30 May 2021. The Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) is a tool used by several major European cities such as Madrid, Milan and Rome to reduce the flow of vehicles in the city centre. This system makes it possible to reserve roads for pedestrians, bicycles, public transport and certain categories of users (riverains, delivery agents, craftsmen, etc.) that will be specified in the context of this consultation. On the other hand, transit traffic, i.e. vehicles crossing the area without stopping there, is generally prohibited. These experiences are part of a movement to reconquest the urban space dedicated to the automobile in favor of new uses more user-friendly and less polluting. This consultation was an opportunity for Parisians to take ownership of this essential project in the evolution of their living environment: define the contours of the restricted traffic area in the center of Paris, specify the categories of vehicles allowed to enter the centre, or even identify the streets that should be the subject of special attention...
