Documentary fonds of the departmental museum of the Domaine de Sceaux available for consultation * * * The Musée du Domaine départemental de Sceaux deploys its collections in several prestigious buildings: the Castle, the Orangery, the Pavillon de l’Aurore, the Petit Château and the Stables. From history to art, architecture and landscape transformations, the collections evoke the Paris region and the history of the estate since the 17th century. This dataset presents all the works available at the museum’s documentation centre. Rich in more than 7800 books, this collection presents the artists and fields of art present at the museum as well as the themes and motifs represented in the works.
