Dataset description

The main pressures on water resources are the samplings carried out in the natural environment for domestic, agricultural or industrial uses (including cooling of thermal power plants). The assessment of these pressures is now carried out using the information reported to the Adour Garonne Water Agency for the collection of royalties. They make it possible to distinguish three origins for water withdrawals: * surface water (streams, lakes and artificial holdings), * water table (quick renewal table, not separated from the soil surface by a waterproof layer, sources), * captive tablecloth (long-renewed tablecloth, separated from the soil surface by a waterproof layer). The recovery of fees from a physical threshold (7 000 m³/year), the identification of the levies is not exhaustive. The geolocation of the points of sampling is also not always known. In any case, knowledge of the commune allows an approached location. The data relate to the volumes taken, not to be confused with the volumes consumed (difference between the volume taken and the volume returning to the middle). A flat-rate scheme shall be applied where the measurement of the levies has not been carried out. The dataset has 7 files: * the file warnings.pdf presenting the legal information of the data of the basin Server * the file (DescriptionDonneesPrelevements.pdf) describing the information collected * the opr_xxxx file describing the counters * the points_xxxx file showing the sampling points * the connection_xxxx file describing the connections between the sampling points and the counters. * The volumeOpr_xxxx file containing the volumes taken per use for each counter. * The volumePoint_xxxx file containing the estimated volumes taken at each point of picking up.
