Dataset description

Servitudes of public utility (SUP) are administrative limitations on the right to property, they are instituted for the benefit of public persons, concessionaires of services or public works, private persons engaged in an activity of the public interest; general interest. The collection and conservation of servitudes of public utility are a sovereign mission of the State which must bring them to the attention of the local authorities so that they annex them to their document d’' urbanism. The easements of public utility concerned are those defined by Articles L. 126-1 and R. 126-1 of the Code de l’' urban planning and their annexes. EL11-type SUPs restrict direct access to motorways, express roads and deviations from urban areas. With regard to express roads and deviations d' agglomeration, no access can be created or modified by local residents, but prohibitions on existing access can only come into force after re-establishment of service to the parcels concerned.
