Electricity generation by sector and hourly production costs

On a monthly basis, information on electricity generation by sector is based on metering data, telemeasurements and estimates. The information on the recorded cost of production refers to an average of all means of production (all sectors combined). This information is different from the marginal hourly cost of the system, which would first correspond to the variable cost of the most expensive _dispatchable_ average started_. These costs are therefore, in particular, not comparable to the forward-looking marginal costs published by the CRE. To date, data 2016 to 2021 have been validated while 2021 data are estimated. The time zone of the data is that of metropolitan France (UTC+ 1 in winter/UTC+ 2 in summer)
