Dataset description

This series of data contains the right-of-way and useful characteristics of the area at risk of flooding. Data sets produced by the GIS Flooding Directive at a significant risk of flooding (TRI) of Cayenne Island and mapping for reporting purposes for the European Flood Directive. The European Directive 2007/60/EC of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and risk management of flooding (OJ L 288, 06-11-2007, p. 27) influences the flood prevention strategy in Europe. It requires the production of flood risk management plans aimed at reducing the negative consequences of flooding on human health, the environment, cultural heritage and economic activity. The objectives and requirements for realignment are given by the Law of 12 July 2010 on the National Commitment for the Environment (LENE) and the Decree of 2 March 2011. In this context, the primary objective of the mapping of floodable surfaces and risks of ' flooding for IRRs is to contribute, by homogehising and objecting knowledge of the \#x27; exposure of issues to floods, to the elaboration of Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMPs). __Origin__ The TRI data of Cayenne Island were developed by CEREMA dter Méditéryear in 2014 and standardised by DEAL Guyana (ERN and IGDC units) in 2015. The data comply with the COVADIS directivie flood standard, version 1.0 of 26 September 2012, corrected on 21 June 2013. The TRI’s right-of-way was obtained by merging the corresponding municipalities (BD TOPO® 2012 de l'IGN). The report accompanying the maps and the GIS Flood Directive provides information on the size of the genealogy information. This information explains the choices made on data and production methods. __Partner organisations__ Deal Guyana, CEREMA/Mediterranean Territorial Directorate __Links annexes__ * [DEAL website: Implementation of the Flood Directive](http://www.guyane.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/mise-en-oeuvre-de-la-directive-r554.html) * [basketDownloadFrontalParametrage](https://catalogue.geoguyane.fr/geosource/panierDownloadFrontalParametrage?LAYERIDTS=92309) * [basketDownloadFrontalParametrage](https://catalogue.geoguyane.fr/geosource/panierDownloadFrontalParametrage?LAYERIDTS=92317) * [basketDownloadFrontalParametrage](https://catalogue.geoguyane.fr/geosource/panierDownloadFrontalParametrage?LAYERIDTS=603588) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/4a883d71cabba75d45d6a25de7a27b07572dfe9c)
