Forest protection (Articles L.411-1 to L.413-1 of the Forest Code). Public utility (Article L411-1 of the Forest Code):- forests whose conservation is recognised as necessary for the maintenance of land on the mountains and on slopes, for the defence against avalanches, erosions and invasions of water and sands;- woods and forests, regardless of their owners, located on the outskirts of large agglomerations, as well as in areas where their maintenance is required, either for ecological reasons or for the welfare of the population. Digitisation carried out by the SAF d' after #x27; protection decree of 1935 and adapted from #x27; after the contours of the IGN fragmentary Bd of 2014.
