Dataset description

__A from 2018 onwards the December duty month data are observed with a decrease of 6 months (final data) instead of 2 months (semi-definitive data). __ This dataset denotes the beneficiary households entitled to be paid, in December or in respect of December, family allowances (AF). More detailed information on these services can be found on the caf.fr site at the following link: Https://www.caf.fr/aides-et-services/s-informer-sur-les-aides/enfance-et-jeunesse The monthly amount of the family varies according to the number of dependent children in the household and the level of resources of the recipient household. Since 1 July 2015, the amount of family allowances has been adjusted according to the resources of the household. This adjustment also applies to age increases and to the flat-rate family allowances. The new rules are addressed to all beneficiary households in mainland France. However, beneficiaries with only one dependent child are not covered. This measure concerns three amounts of family allowances according to the following indicators: \ — The current amount for households whose resources do not exceed a first ceiling. \ — half of this amount for those whose resources exceed the first ceiling but do not exceed a 2th ceiling. \ — A quarter of the amount for households whose resources exceed the 2th ceiling. For more information on these scales, please consult directly on caf.fr via the link below http://www.caf.fr/aides-et-services/s-informer-sur-les-aides/petite-enfance/les-allocations-familiales-af-0?active=tab1 The geographical field of observation of the dataset corresponds to the municipality of residence of the beneficiary household as recorded in the statistical file of entitled persons for the month of entitlement, irrespective of which Caf managed the recipient’s file.
