Geographical reference mesh

Geographical grid of the Hauts-de-Seine territory allowing the so-called reference data to be merged. * * * The Hauts-de-Seine Department offers in Open Data all its orthophotographs produced from 1978 to 2018. The original mesh of the orthophotographs produced, cut into slabs of the same size, was found to be different from one vintage to another. It was decided during the last acquisition campaign (in 2018) to create a Reference Geographic Mage (M.G.R.) in order to standardise within the Department a gridded data, especially for orthophotograph acquisition campaigns. This is in the interest of homogeneity between vintages and facilitates their distribution and exploitation. In this context, all of the Department’s orthophotograph datasets have been published using this mesh. The M.G.R. is now the reference used for the Department’s data covering its entire territory, namely orthophotographs, altimeter data, topographic plans, plan collections, etc., and for future publications. **Glossary** Orthophotography Orthophotography is an assemblage or mosaic from aerial or satellite images, geometrically corrected with respect to relief and radiometrically harmonised in order to generate a single image that can be presented as slabs or meshes. BISHOP Reference Geographic mesh. Grid of slabs of 1 km per 1 km allowing to regularly grid the territory of Hauts-de-Seine. **Specific observations** This mesh is now the reference used for gridded data produced by the Hauts-de-Seine Department. The download of a reference data (orthophotography, old cadastre, altimetry...) depending on its vintage or type can be done by clicking on the corresponding link in the table or by clicking in the map on a slab.
