Dataset description

**The geolocation of the Sirene directory establishments for statistical studies** is made available to users. The data relate to the geocoding of active establishments (X,Y coordinates) with their georeference in sub-communal zoning (IRIS, QPV, ZUS, ZFU, QVA, see associated documentation). * The file **monthly** corresponds to establishments with **data available** and present in the Sirene database as of the 1st of the month**. * It is **posted online on the 21st of the month** with the following geographical information: SIRET, coordinates (X,Y), common code, geolocation quality variables, positioning in zoning (IRIS, QPV, ZUS, ZFU, QVA). * Geolocation concerns **the French territory outside Mayotte** (Métropole, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion). The coding used for the metropolis follows the geodetic system RGF93 Lambert 93, for the Dom the system is different (see associated documentation). * Geolocation is carried out by an application of **automatic geocoding** developed at INSEE. It is backed by a reference repository of geolocated addresses built from the Directory of Localised Buildings (RIL), which integrates **the geographical coordinates of the addresses positioned at the access of the building** for the purposes of the Census of Population in municipalities with more than 10,000 inhabitants, and **the geolocation of land parcels.** * The geolocation ** of active establishments with 200 or more employees** has been systematically **checked** by geolocation managers, as well as **for establishments with 20 to 199 employees** for which automatic geolocation is uncertain.
