Cathar castles, grandiose natural circuses, ancient or natural monuments... To make them known, increase the tourist attractiveness of the region and ** thus enter the top 10 European destinations by 2021**, the Region has integrated 40 regional tourist sites in its “Grands Sites Occitanie” scheme. It has been in running order since April 2018. Using the formula of the “Grands Sites Midi-Pyrénées” which had borne fruit, the new scheme is therefore extended to the whole region.
