Dataset description

The Region organises with the Drac Île-de-France, from 21 September to 31 December, a great poetry competition inviting children aged 8 to 12 to tell or describe their favorite monument or artwork in poetry. Children are invited to write a poem to tell or describe their favorite heritage in the Île-de-France region. It is up to them to choose their monument or work, to find their style and to care for the presentation to be one of the winners! In verse or prose, it is originality that prevails, in the choice of heritage as well as realisation. Children must let their creativity and imagination speak! To the key: many exceptional prizes to win: entrances to the museum, check-culture, subscriptions to magazines partner of the contest (“Le Petit Léonard”, “Virgule”...) This competition offers 2 modes of participation: in the family setting or in the context of a writing workshop whose information is given in this dataset.
