Dataset description

This data, produced within the framework of the Flood Directive, identifies the municipalities affected by the Important Flood Risk Territories. A TRI is defined as an area where flood-exposed issues are highly concentrated, whether they come from sea submersions, overflows of water or any other source. It is identified on the basis of national criteria based on population and #x27; employment present in the <#x27; within the potentially floodable areas retained in the #x27th; Preliminary risk assessment D' Flood (EPRI) and the priorities set by the basin authorities. The list of IRRs was drawn up by the prefect coordinator of the basin (Prefectural Decree of 26 November 2012). Identification of TRIs in the implementation of the Flood Directive follows a logic of prioritising the actions and means provided by the State in its flood management policy. To this end, these territories will be the subject of: — d'a mapping of risks for the phenomena of d' flood characterising the territory of #x27; by the end of 2013; — local risk management strategies of' flooding at #x27; scale of potentially affected watersheds whose objectives and perimeter will need to be identified by 2014; Evaluations and designations of IRRs shall be carried out every 6 years: D' other TRIs will be designated in the next phase.
