Dataset description

This dataset presents all the deputies of the French National Assembly since the 12nd legislature (2002). The data comes from open data from the National Assembly. This new game brings together in a single file the data concerning Members, their parliamentary history, their current political group. The game also contains the statistics developed on the Datan site. To see the active deputies of the National Assembly, [click here](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/deputes-actifs-de-lassemblee-nationale-informations-et-statistiques/). All scores in this dataset are the scores of the Member’s last parliamentary term. For example, for a Member with a term of office during the 14th and 15th parliamentary term, scores (participation, loyalty, etc.) of the Member for the 15th term are given. The variables are as follows: — ID: ID present on the Assembly’s website — legislatureLast: last Parliament in which the Member had a mandate — CIV: kind of MP — name — first name — birth: date of birth — age — group: current parliamentary group — groupAbrev: abbreviation of the group — departmentName: name of the department in which the Member was elected — departementCode: code of the department in which the Member was elected — Circo: number of his constituency — dateCaptureFunction: date on which he took office in the current legislature — job — email — Twitter — Facebook — website — numberMandates: the number of parliamentary mandates exercised by the Member — experienceDepute: parliamentary experience (in days, months or years) — scoreParticipation: the participation score corresponds to the percentage of votes in which the Member took part in public sittings — scoreParticipationSpectialite: the “speciality” participation score corresponds to the percentage of votes in which the Member took part in public sitting and which are related to a legislative text examined in the Member’s parliamentary committee, and therefore for which the Member has an interest or expertise — scoreLoyaute: the loyalty score corresponds to the percentage of votes for which the Member voted on the same line as his or her parliamentary group — scoreMajorite: the proximity score with the presidential majority corresponds to the percentage of votes for which the deputy voted on the same line as the group of the presidential majority — active: “1” if the Member is still active — dateMaj: last update date of the dataset
