Dataset description

Number of dwellings subsidised by the Department for the improvement of private housing, per municipality, since 2013. * * * Departmental interventions in the area of private housing provide support to the smallest households who have to carry out work in their habitat. This aid concerns mainly the improvement of the energy performance of the building, adaptation to the loss of autonomy and aid to co-owners’ unions in the fight against unworthy housing. The Department also provides resources-based assistance to new home-based APA recipients for the adaptation of their housing under APA habitat. The aids enable modest homeowners to live better at home by improving their living conditions and in some cases adapt their housing to their loss of autonomy. This dataset presents all the aid granted by municipality since 2013. **Glossary** APA The Personalised Autonomy Allowance (PAA) at home is intended for all elderly people who are dependent or losing their autonomy. Its purpose is to enable them to use the help they need to carry out the actions of everyday life (moving, feeding, etc.). Unworthy habitat The concept of unworthy housing covers all housing situations that are a denial of the right to housing and violate human dignity.
