Dataset description

A Wildlife Hunting and Wildlife Reserve (RCFS) is one of the protected natural areas (NPEs) which are designated or managed areas within an international, community, national or local framework with a view to achieving specific objectives for the conservation of natural heritage.The hunting and wildlife reserves are land or marine areas to protect the natural environments of ' endangered species of which, in particular, the populations of ' migratory birds, and to promote the development of\#x27; tools for the management of species and their habitats, in the \#x27; objective of a sustainable development of hunting in rural territories.They are created by prefectoral decree, either at the request of the holder of the hunting right, or at the initiative of the departmental or interdepartmental federation of hunters, when#x27; it is about strengthening actions of the public interest.Acts of hunting are prohibited, with the exception of regulatory actions necessary to maintain biological and agro-sylvo-cynegetic balances.Legal references: Articles L422-27 and R422-82 to R422-91 of the code del'environment. __Origin__ Source of georeferencing: the name and the actuality of the geographical repository used to digitise the RCFS perimeters are entered by the fields SRC_GEOM and SRC_ANNEE of the N_ENP_RCFS_S_ddd data series.Thematic source: Administrative, legal or contractual classification of the protected natural area.
