Dataset description

The hydrographic division is l' all of the four hierarchical partitions of the French territory made according to decreasing hydrographic areas: — hydrographic region (1st order), — hydrographic sector (2nd order), — hydrographic subsector (3 rd order), — hydrographic area (4th order). A sector is divided according to a maximum of 10 subsectors and one subsector is divided according to a maximum of 10 river basin areas. __Origin__ The BD CARTHAGE repository covers the entire hydrographic territory of Guyana, which includes in addition to Guyana, the Surinamese and Brazilian parts of the watersheds of the Maroni and Oyapock rivers. L' extraction of watersheds was carried out from the numerical model of the SRTM field (message d' a second d'arc). The hydrographic areas were created first. The regions, sectors and subsectors were then formed by grouping the areas initially generated. __Partner organisations__ Deal Guyane, SANDRE, AFB __Links annexes__ * [see documentation on Sandre website](http://www.sandre.eaufrance.fr/?urn=urn:sandre:dictionnaire:ETH::entite:SousSecteurHydro:ressource:latest:::html) * [see Dictionary & Hydrographic Reference (ETH)" on the Sandre website](http://www.sandre.eaufrance.fr/?urn=urn:sandre:notice:dictionnaire::theme:ETH:ressource:latest:::html) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/aa29532a65a5df6f46bc8bbb33348fbd2d9c1409)
