Indicateurs de suivi de l’épidémie de COVID-19 en France

# # # Presentation of monitoring indicators On 28 May 2020, as part of the second step of the de-confinement plan, the government presented a summary map of the departments, which serves as a reference for the differentiated measures applied since 2 June. This map is constructed on the basis of 4 indicators and is complemented by a risk analysis. The indicators are the following: 1\. Epidemic activity (incidence rate) The incidence rate is the number of people tested positive (RT-PCR and antigenic test) for the first time in more than 60 days in relation to population size. It is expressed per 100 000 inhabitants and makes it possible to compare geographical areas with each other. Three levels have been set for this indicator: * green: Less than 10 people tested positive in 100.000 people tested over a sliding week; * orange: More than 10 people tested positive in 100.000 people tested over a sliding week; * red: More than 50 people tested positive in 100.000 people tested over a sliding week. 2\. Positive rate of virological tests The positivity rate is the number of people tested positive (RT-PCR and antigenic test) for the first time in more than 60 days in relation to the total number of people tested positive or negative over a given period; They have never been tested positive in the previous 60 days. Three levels have been set for this indicator: * green: Positivity rate between 0 and 5 %; * orange: Positivity rate between 5 and 10 %; * red: Positivity rate above 10 %. 3\. Virus reproductive factor (evolution of R0) Number of virus reproduction: This is the average number of people that an infected person can contaminate. If the effective R is greater than 1, the epidemic develops; If less than 1, the epidemic will decline. This indicator, which was stopped on Tuesday and updated on Thursday, is an indicator of the epidemiological situation around 7 days previously and should be interpreted in the light of the screening and reporting activities. The indicator is updated once a week Three levels have been set for this indicator: * Green: R0 between 0 and 1; * Orange: R0 between 1 and 1,5; * Red: R0 greater than 1,5. 4\. Hospital stress on resuscitation capacity This indicator reflects the level of demand for reanimations but also the level of stress on hospital resuscitation capacities. This is the proportion of COVID-19 patients currently in resuscitation, intensive care, or continuous monitoring unit relative to the total number of beds in initial capacity, i.e. before increasing the capacity of resuscitation beds in a hospital. Three levels have been set for this indicator: * Green: Occupancy rate between 0 and 30 %; * Orange: Occupancy rate between 30 and 60 %; * Red: Occupancy rate above 60 %. # # # Data Description The data made available show the daily value of these 4 indicators at national and departmental level since 15 March 2020. # # # Enrichment * Add geometry * Add of zone iso codes 3166-3
