Land occupation in the department of Ardèche (year 1997)

Description of land use according to 16 value classes, over the entire department of Ardèche. __Origin__ Objectives of production: — Measure the consumption of the space and its evolution between each year of occupancy. Quantify these changes and their speed. — Identify sectors with stakes — Equipping a tool with a tool for decision-making; planning Process of realisation: Combination of remote sensing and photo interpretation allowing to identify the land cover in 16 classes. — Remote sensing and textural analysis on images degraded to 5 m to delimit large groups (cultures, forests, habitat). — Photo-interpretation on metric resolution images to refine and correct the result of remote sensing. Realisation by the Cabinet Geosat Sources: Digitised and georeferenced paper aerial photographs of l'IGN for shooting campaigns 1979, 1986, 1991, 1997. IGN©-BDORTHO® for the 2002 and 2007 marketing year.
