Official list of institutions with the name “Musée de France” within the meaning of the Heritage Code, updated to 25/01/2022. This list is administered by the Department of Museums of France (Directorate General of Heritage and Architecture).
It is updated at least once a year, depending on the opinions given by the Haut Conseil des Musées de France, on the attribution, change or withdrawal of the name “Musée de France”.
