List of visas for cinematographic holdings issued from 1945 to 2020

This file lists all the film operating visa files produced and issued by the CNC from 1945 to the present day. Governed by article L211-1 of the Code du cinéma et de l’imageanimation, the operating visa constitutes a necessary administrative authorisation for any work, French or foreign, whose purpose is to be commercially exploited in cinemas. Ensuring the issuance of this visa through its classification committee, the CNC therefore contributes to one of its primary tasks, namely the regulation and control of the French film sector.
