Major Urban Renewal Project (GPRU)

In March 2002, the City of Paris signed an addendum to the City Contract of Paris with several partners: the State, the Region, the Caisse des Deposits, FASILD to act on 11 priority sites. It’s the launch of the “Great Urban Renewal Project”. This project is the new challenge of the capital and aims to improve the quality of life outlying quarters. On the programme: works, fitting-outs, employment development, actions in favour of safety and cleanliness, exchanges with municipalities neighbors... This vast project is the "Great Renewal Project Urban“of Paris, the”GPRU”. It covers almost 110,000 inhabitants and 7 boroughs.
