Map — SRCE2014 — ALSACE — Orientation map n°14: The beaver and subtrames of alluvial environments

This map was made to represent the species issues related to the Castor in Alsace as part of the green and blue frame of the SRCE. The elements are mapped at 1:100,000th on three areas of Alsace where the Cator stake is predominant. The problem areas are composed of portions of rivers where the species has been identified (treatment on the “detail” field of the Regional Ecological Corridor table). The elements of the green and blue frame are associated with the mapping, there are the reservoirs of biodiversity by sub-trames favourable to the species (wet forest, aquatic, open wetlands) but also all other regional ecological corridors, rivers classified under Article 214-17 of the Environmental Code List 1 and 2 and potentially mobile portion watercourses. Elements of context complement the cartographic representation. The paths are based, as far as possible, on existing structuring elements. This mapping is carried out for a print planned in A3 format, color, portrait orientation.
