Dataset description
The Atlas in Mental Health is the result of a collaboration between IRDES, DREES, CERESS, ARS PACA and the Health Atlas team, the indicators were, for the first time, posted online in 2018. The data then resulted in the publication of a [IRDES book](https://www.irdes.fr/recherche/2020/ouvrage-007-atlas-de-la-sante-mentale-en-france.html).
The indicators presented here have been updated for the years 2015 and 2019, based on a common calculation methodology allowing a comparison over time.
This update was made possible by several sources:
* 2013 and 2017 Censuses
* Annual statistics of health institutions (HAS)
* The Information Systems Medicalisation Program (PMSI)
* The Shared Directory of Health Professionals (HPPR)
* The national register of health and social institutions (FINESS)
* Monthly statistics of prisoners and detainees
