Dataset description

Delimitation of the mountain zone, under the heading of urban planning, in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées. The mountain area comprises municipalities characterised by a limitation of the possibilities of land use and an increase in the costs of works. Municipalities or parts of municipalities subject to the urban planning provisions of the Law of 9 January 1985, so-called “Mountain Law”;. Article L.145-1 of the Code de l' urban planning refers, for #x27; application of the provisions of #x27; special urban planning in the mountains, to the mountain areas defined in #x27; Article 3 of the law of 9 January 1985 and delimited by inter-ministerial orders. The mountain area on which the provisions of the mountain law apply; urban planning of the mountain law is that defined by the inter-ministerial decree of 6 September 1985, signed by the Minister in charge of urban planning. This area is also taken into account for the distribution of the DGD assigned to urban planning. Since 6 September 1985, other decrees, signed by the ministers of agriculture or of the economy and finance, have delimited new mountain areas, for the purpose of supporting certain less-favoured areas, but these areas cannot be taken into account for the definition of the scope of #x27; application of the provisions of #x27; urban planning specific to mountain areas. __Origin__ Selection of municipalities forming part of the mountain area defined by the Decree of 6 September 1985 (lists of municipalities covered by the decrees of 20/02/1974, 28/04/1976, 18/01/1977, 13/11/1978, 29/01/1982, 20/09/1983, 14/12/1984, 25/07/1985).
