Dataset description

This dataset contains the perimeters of the priority neighbourhoods (surface objects) of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, pursuant to Article 5 of Law No. 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 on programming for the city and urban cohesion. The priority areas of city policy in the metropolitan departments are districts located in urban areas and characterised by a minimum number of inhabitants and a gap in economic and social development appreciated by a criterion of income of the inhabitants. Decree No. 2014-767 of 3 July 2014 determined the method of delimiting the contours of the priority neighbourhoods of the city policy referred to in I of Article 5 of Law No 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 programming for the city and urban cohesion. Decree No 2014-767 also specified the procedure at the end of which the definitive outlines of the priority districts are established, the list of which, referred to in II of Article 5 of the above-mentioned law, is laid down by this decree. This decree is adopted for the application of Article 5 of Law No. 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 on programming for the city and urban cohesion. These perimeters replace sensitive urban areas (Zus) and neighbourhoods under urban social cohesion contracts (CUCS) from 1 January 2015. __Origin__ Detailed genealogy information is provided in the report accompanying the maps and the GIS Flood Directive.
