Dataset description

This dataset contains the perimeters of the Areas d'Alimentation des Captages Priority, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region Distributed throughout France, the “priority catches” have been identified following a process of local consultation, based on three criteria: — the state of the resource vis-à-vis diffuse pollution (mainly nitrates and pesticides), — the strategic nature of the resource — the desire to regain some abandoned catchments. In response to the requirements of the Framework Directive on Water, the Law on Water and Aquatic Environments of 30/12/06 strengthened the control systems for diffuse pollution of #x27; agricultural origin through the creation of zones for the protection of areas of #x27; feeding of catchments. The implementation of this new resource protection system leads to the delimitation of catchment feeding areas (AAFC, sometimes also referred to as catchment ponds, or LAC) that include AAFC protection areas. For surface water abstractions, l'AAC is the sub-basin upstream of the water intake. For groundwater, a common methodology for delimiting AAFCs at the national level has been proposed. In the law of the methodological guide produced, the basin d'feeding d' underground capture is defined as the place of the points of the soil surface that contribute to the feeding of the catchment. Some catchment areas are defined as priority areas in the Master Plans of Water Management and Management (SDAGE) and measurement programs. An AAFC is thus defined, after technical study, as the zone d’#x27; where the waters supplying one catchment or several close catchments originate. __Origin__ This JDD was created on the perimeter of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region during the heritage harmonisation project in July 2016. It is produced from the assembly of data from the 3 former regions Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes. Note: the data are not exhaustive for the perimeter of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and relate only to the former Aquitaine region. Assembling data from different sources: System d'Information of the Adour-Garonne Water, SMDE24. __Partner organisations__ DREAL Nouvelle-Aquitaine __Links annexes__ * [basketDownloadFrontalParametrage](https://catalogue.sigena.fr/geosource/panierDownloadFrontalParametrage?LAYERIDTS=3933622) * [direct download of data](https://catalogue.sigena.fr/rss/atomfeed/atomdataset/c17d150c-3a39-4e1f-9ff4-9c4380568016) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/7e28848a4680329bf6c3b7a04a65aeacef31d274)
