Dataset description

The noise classification of land transport infrastructure is aimed at classifying all tracks with an annual average daily traffic exceeding 5000 vehicles/day, for road tracks and 50 trains per day for railways. The tracks are classified into 5 categories (1 being considered the loudest sum, and 5 the least noisy). A sector affected by noise arises from this classification, at the <#x27; within which s' applies rules of constructibility. __Origin__ The Vienna Sound Classification was revised and approved by Prefectural Order on 1 September 2015. For road classification, data were digitised from the road section layer of ©IGN-BD TOPO® 2014, for road lanes with a traffic of more than 5000 vehicles per day. Traffic-related data are those provided by track managers. For the classification of tracks, data digitisation was done from the ©IGN-BD TOPO® 2014 layer of track sections for intercity tracks of more than 50 trains per day and tracks of more than 100 trains per day. Geographic data on the route of the future LGV South Europe Atlantic were provided by COSEA. Traffic-related data are those provided by track managers. Finally, the areas affected by noise were made from buffers along the sections of the noise classification of Vienna’s road and rail infrastructure. The buffer value corresponds to the maximum width of the sector defined according to the category of track d (see decree of 30 May 1996) to which half the width of the track is added. For information category 1, d= 300 m; category 2, d= 250 m, category 3, d= 100 m and category 4, d= 30 m. Vienna is concerned only by categories 1 to 4. __Partner organisations__ DDT Vienna __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-ldd-d331d870-5aa3-4716-a2ce-6fd98a349e0a) * [noise classification of Vienna’s land transport infrastructure](http://carto.geo-ide.application.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/185/FB_clt_sonore_2015.map) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/8fa3884c7e9a9dbb147e8740842c6098216e6968)
