__ From 2018 onwards the December duty month data are observed with a decrease of 6 months (final data) instead of 2 months (semi-definitive data). __ This dataset is an enumeration of the population of children covered, by way of entitlement, by the Early School Allowance (ARS) for the reference year. The Early Childhood Allowance (ARS) helps families meet the cost of starting their children from 6 to 18 years old. Unlike most of the benefits which have a monthly payment, the ARS is received once a year. It is paid just before the start of school year for children under 16 years of age. For those aged 16-18, families must provide Caf with an education or apprenticeship certificate. Since the beginning of 2008, the amount of this benefit has been adjusted according to three age brackets.
