Data from the National Institute of Origin and Quality (INAO) Website: <HTTPS://WWW.INAO.GOUV.FR/> Download raw data INAO: [Delimitation of geographical areas of SIQO (aire-geo) — data.gouv.fr](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/delimitation-des-aires-geographiques-des-siqo/) Table representing all official signs of quality and origin available in the Basque Country. PGI: The Protege Geographical Indication (PGI) identifies an agricultural product, raw or processed, of which quality, reputation or other characteristics are linked to its geographical origin. PDO: The ‘Appellation d’Origine Prote’gee (PDO) is a product whose production stages are re-alified according to a know-how recognised in the same geographical area, which gives its characteristics to the product. It is a European sign that protects the name of the product throughout the European Union. AOC: The Designation of Origin Control (AOC) of products corresponding to the criteria of the PDO and protects the designation in the territory of France. It is a step towards the PDO, from now on to european sign. It may also concern products not covered by European regulations (e.g. forest products).
