Agence BIO — French Agency for the Development and Promotion of Organic Agriculture Culture data from 2010 to 2019 **Data are aggregated to scales** Municipality: All areas and flocks shall be attached to the municipality of the place of operation. Municipalities identified according to INSEE as of 1 January 2017 Cantonal: Where the municipality is not attached to a canton, the latter is not informed Departmental: All surfaces are attached to a department Regional: All surfaces are attached to a region The geographical scale is identified by the INSEE code of the municipality, canton, department and region **Certified organic or in-conversion areas at the end of the year** Number of holdings: Number of farms engaged (with or without areas committed (yc beekeepers, etc.) SurfAB: Areas having reached the end of their conversion SurfC1: Areas in the first year of conversion SurfC2: Areas in the second year of conversion SurfC3: Area in third year of conversion SurfC123: Total area in conversion SurfBIO: Total area committed (AB and in-conversion) **Crop groups** ALL: All surfaces AT: Other areas of which (leads, mushroom flower gel, etc.), areas of wild picking, wood, swamps... are not taken into account. CF: Forage crops (including permanent and temporary grassland, but forage other forage crops, ranges...) FR: Fruit (including nuts, fresh fruit and processed fruit) GCULE: Field crops (including dried vegetables) LEF: Fresh vegetables (greenhouse or field marketing (including potatoes) PP: PPAM VI: Viticulture (of which 4 % table grapes at national level) HSAU: Area outside the farm (wild collection, collective summers, wood, roads, buildings) For more details, see the attached sheet. PLEASE NOTE: Data may be incomplete, areas and flocks are on average underestimated by 10 % and some certifying bodies do not transmit their data. Nevertheless, trends remain representative of the territory.
