Dataset description

Contours of forest fires (regardless of the area of these fires). The database "Promethée" (Maitres d' book: MAP-MISSIL; Master d’#x27;work: CG 13 in liaison with DFCI partners) contains a great deal of data on forest fires in the 15 departments of the Mediterranean region. It can be accessed freely A recovery of the data stored in the Prometheus database is possible subject to compliance with certain conditions (see on the site) Each fire of more than 10 hectares (as well as a few smaller fires) is the subject of an outline made by hand raised on IGN scan funds from field reconnaissance, or by GPS for small-scale fires. Contours are performed by the DDTM Sector Technician, or the NFB Territorial Officer designated by the DDTM, once the lamp is fixed. The final outlines, once validated by the DDTM, acquire legal value and can be transmitted to the services concerned (MAAF, DRAAF, DPFM, Préfecture, Gendarmerie, SDIS, ONF) and, at their request, to the prosecutors. __Origin__ The boundaries of a restricted zone are represented on the graphical documents of the PPR. Regulatory limits are generally set on natural phenomena, which do not follow cadastral or administrative boundaries. A PPR determines the boundaries of the different restricted zones according to the calculated right-of-way of the site’s hazardous phenomena. Some PPRs may sometimes contain regulations associated with linear or punctual figures (cavities, runoff axis...). The linear and point graphics primitives are to be used in these cases respectively. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Var, DDTM83/SAEF/BFDFCI __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-86d7e78e-5d31-4daf-bacd-d768302e2654) * [COVADIS data standard: Restricted zone of a PPRN](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_ZONE_REG_PPRN_AAAANNNN_S) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/4da77a254fc0157c292c52cd8eb6d1c56a066411)
