Parking places Saint-Marcellin

Parking spaces listed on the city of Saint-Marcellin including PMRs. To list parking spaces in the city and facilitate their use. This in order to promote the territory in order to develop tourism. Indeed, the city has many squares (2024) but these are often unknown. The parking dataset contains 7 important variables: ID Insee; Address (Rue, Postal Code, City); Insee code of the city; Free of charge, type of users, number of seats available, number of PMR seats, number of bike seats, GPS coordinates (Xlong — Ylat) The dissemination of this data is aimed at public officials of the community of Saint-Marcellin as well as the surrounding municipalities who will be able to use it to produce maps, promote the accessibility of the territory, promote the inclusion of people with reduced mobility in public places. This dataset can also be useful after valorisation to all users in the municipality of Saint-Marcellin, namely individuals or companies. Collection process As the municipality does not have a dataset on parking spaces, we used the Openstreetmap site to locate parking spaces. Then in order to count each place, we counted the places one by one (via a satellite view), carrying them one by one in the spreadsheet. As the dataset has been collected by us, the data is up to date. An annual update is probably required to confirm parking spaces. The dataset was produced by public contributors from national public or private databases. We used productions from OpenStreetMap, Google Maps and Geodatamine.
