Personal Autonomy Allowance (APA) at home in Isère per municipality since 2016

The Personalised Autonomy Allowance is an allowance granted to persons at least 60 years of age who are in a situation of loss of autonomy, requiring assistance in carrying out the actions of everyday life. The data are on a communal zoning as of 1 January 2020 The APA is intended for people aged 60 and over. The applicant must attest to a stable and regular residence in France. Travellers and persons without a fixed home can attest to their “stable and regular residence” by being domiciled with an approved public social or medico-social body (CCAS,...). Persons who are not nationals of a Member State of the European Union may apply for the APA if they are in possession of one of these valid residence permits. The assessment of the loss of autonomy is based on the national grid AGGIR (Gerontology Group Iso-Resources). This grid makes it possible to establish an IRM between 1 and 6. Only applicants classified as GIR 1-4 are eligible for the APA.
