Dataset description

The primary network (1) of the Plan Intempéries Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (PIARA) is divided into sectors, which are determined according to: — their homogeneity or specificity in terms of meteorological events; — knowledge by sector of singular points presenting difficulties in terms of traffic during winter weather. A sector is a surface geographical object; it is characterised by a wording similar to the road networks it covers. Currently, PIARA applies to 16 sectors throughout the Southeast Defence and Security Zone. (1) South East motorways and national roads serving the main intra and inter-Zonales connections.
