Dataset description

Estimate of total annual emissions of major air pollutants (SO2 — NOx NO2 equivalent — PM10 suspended particulate matter — PM2.5 suspended particulate matter — benzene C6H6 — Organic compounds Non-Methanic VMVOCs — Ammonia NH3 — carbon monoxide CO — As — Cd — Ni — Pb — BaP on the South region for the years 2007, 2010 and 2012 to 2016. All data provided are kg. The number of decimal places varies depending on the pollutant. Air pollutant emission values have been calculated in accordance with the methodology guide for the development of territorial air emission inventories carried out by the National Coordination Centre on Territorial Emission Inventory (PCIT) and the French OMINEA benchmark developed by CITEPA. The classification of sectors of activity is the SECTEN classification (economic and energy sectorisation) level 1. Description of fields: * code_reg (text): official code of the region concerned * lib_reg (text): name of the region concerned * version (text): emission Inventory Version * annee_inv (text): reference year of emissions * nox_kg: mass of nitrogen oxides emitted in the reference year in kg * so2_kg: mass of sulphur dioxide emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * pm10_kg: mass of PM10 particulate matter emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * pm25_kg: mass of PM2.5 particulate matter emitted in the reference year in kg * co_kg: mass of carbon monoxide emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * c6h6_kg: mass of benzene emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * covnm_kg: mass of volatile organic compounds emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * nh3_kg: mass of nitrate emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * as_kg: mass of arsenic emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * cd_kg: mass of cadmium emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * ni_kg: mass of nickel emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * pb_kg: mass of lead emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg * bap_kg: mass of benzo(a)pyrene emitted in the relevant territory during the reference year in kg
