Population covered by housing assistance — Gironde

Counts by Caf of persons who are members of the recipient households with a paymentable right to housing assistance. Housing allowances are intended to support modest individuals and families in their financial effort devoted to the main housing. They concern tenants, residents in homes and accessors to the property. They shall be disbursed under conditions of resources. Housing aids consist of the Family Housing Allowance (ALF) of the Social Housing Allowance (ALS) and Personalised Housing Assistance (APL). Several recipient households can live in the same place, they constitute a single household within the meaning of the statistical definition Insee. This is the case, for example, when a couple receives housing allowances and shelters their child with a social minimum of Caf (RSO, RSA, AAH). In practice, the term “allocator” is often used instead of “home rental”. The chargeable entitlement means that the recipient household fulfils all the conditions to be effectively paid for the month of observation. In particular, beneficiaries who have not provided all their supporting documents, or those whose amount of the benefit is below the payment threshold, are not included in this scope. The geographical field of observation of the dataset corresponds to the management caf to which the recipient outbreak is attached in the statistical file of the recipients, at the time of extraction (approximately 6 weeks after the end of the observed month).
