Dataset description

The plans for the prevention of natural hazards (PPRn) were established by the law of 2 February 1995 on the strengthening of the protection of the environment. They constitute the essential instrument of the State in the field of risk prevention. The objective of this procedure is to control development in areas exposed to a major risk. The PPRn are decided by the prefects and usually carried out by the departmental directorates of the territories (DDT). These plans regulate land use or land use through construction bans or requirements on existing or future buildings (constructive provisions, vulnerability reduction work, (restrictions of #x27; use or agricultural practices...). These plans may be in progress; development (prescribed), applied in advance or approved. The information of ' expertise allows to inform the PPRn by specifying specific points (fracking zone, obstacle like a bridge,...) or by adding information useful to the general understanding of the PPRn (benchmarks, direction of #x27; flow, velocity of #x27; flow, flow,...) __Origin__ 2014: COVADIS standardisation of the digital data of the PPRn of the departments of the Aquitaine region. The boundaries of a restricted zone are represented on the graphical documents of the PPR. Regulatory limits are generally set on natural phenomena, which do not follow cadastral or administrative boundaries. A PPRT determines the boundaries of the different restricted zones according to the calculated right-of-way of the site’s hazardous phenomena. Some PPRs may sometimes contain regulations associated with linear or punctual figures (cavities, runoff axis...). The linear and point graphics primitives are to be used in these cases respectively. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Pyrénées-Atlantiques __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-cee42d51-64c0-47c1-9eb1-0ff527c9c765) * [COVADIS data standard: Risk Prevention Plan PPRN PPRT](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?id=15) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/3ad635453e8d90c870601538e1148072550e4c30)
