Dataset description

The PPRI de la Loire Amont defines areas where prohibitions or prescriptions are applied in order not to aggravate the risk to human life or to provoke new ones. This document is based on the 1910 flood according to a scenario of rupture of the liftings. The PPRI zones (Article L 562-1 of the Environmental Code) are determined taking into account the nature and the intensity of the risk involved; they include urbanised or non-flooded areas for a given occurrence and may include areas that are not directly exposed to risk but where the implementation of new projects could exacerbate the risks or lead to new ones. The prohibitions and requirements laid down in the regulations of the PPRI are accessible via the website of the services of the State in Loire-Atlantique. You will find them for download in the Internet addresses listed in this metadata. The Loire Amont PPRI was approved on March 12, 2001. It concerns the municipalities of Ancenis, Anetz, Basse-Goulaine, Haute-Goulaine — La Chapelle-Basse-Mer, Le Cellier, Le Fresne-sur-Loire, Mauves-sur-Loire, Montrelais, Oudon, Saint-Géréon, Saint-Herblon, Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, Thouaré-sur-Loire, Varades. __Origin__ The boundaries of a restricted zone are represented on the graphical documents of the PPR. Regulatory limits are generally set on natural phenomena, which do not follow cadastral or administrative boundaries. A PPR determines the boundaries of the different restricted zones according to the calculated right-of-way of the hazardous phenomena of the site. Some PPRs may sometimes contain regulations associated with linear or punctual figures (cavities, runoff axis...). The linear and point graphics primitives are to be used in these cases respectively. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Loire-Atlantique __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-8ab8d333-9a20-4893-8589-0137317f0567) * [COVADIS data standard: Restricted zone of a PPRN](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/d42a0bf2b2f94f35a4efd23dc8f0df74e72e0111)
