Dataset description

The origin of the risk characterises the entity of the real world which, through its presence, represents a potential risk. This origin may be characterised by a name and, in some cases, a geographical object locating the actual entity at the origin of the risk. The location of the entity and knowledge of the hazardous phenomenon is used to define the risk pools, the risk-exposed areas that underlie the RPP. __Origine__ Geometric modelling of the risk-derived entity depends on the type of risk, the context of the RPP, the nature of the generator, and its modelling in the data source or geographic repository from which it originates. For example, a watercourse may be represented by a polygon or polyline depending on its size and width, an ICPE by a point (if the location of its enclosure is not known) or by a polygon (especially from the grey area of the PPR).The geometry of this class of objects is optional when: — this geometry is already carried by an object of a geographical repository or an external data source, to which it is recommended to refer to the help of its identifier (and thus avoid unnecessary duplication);- it does not exist because the origin of the risk cannot be precisely defined or localised (e.g., for example, earthquakes, avalanches, marine submersions, etc. However, as it is in practice rare to benefit from stable references to external objects, the geometry of the source of risk will often result from duplication of that of the object representing the origin of the risk. __ Partner Organisations__ DDT Meurthe-et-Moselle __Links annexes__ * [XML view of metadata](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-fb0ff51e-d0e8-4667-b039-dfe0e928b9ac) * [State Services in Meurthe-et-Moselle](http://www.meurthe-et-moselle.gouv.fr/Politiques-publiques/Prevention-des-risques/Prevention-des-risques) * [COVADIS data standard: Superfacial entity at the origin of the risk of a PPRN](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_ORIG_RISQ_PPRN_AAAANNNN_S) * [Digital Map Consulta'Risques](http://carto.geo-ide.application.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/595/RISQ_CONSULT.map) [See this sheet on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/6e0bc80baafe00deae2c9a2ac08fa0e36cfdb6b2)
